Maryann Sheridan

June 1, 1947-March 14, 2024 

The Contra Costa County Civil Grand Jury Association recently lost one of its founding members, Maryann Sheridan.  Maryann, who was born on June 1, 1947, unexpectedly died on March 14, 2024, at age 76. She served on the 2008/2009 Contra Costa County Civil Grand Jury and was an important contributing member to our local association over the subsequent years. She had a 34-year career working for the federal government and was a 1969 University of California, Berkeley graduate. Maryann believed in responsive government and regularly contributed to the East Bay Times letters to the editor section. She will be deeply missed by her friends and colleagues.
